Electronic Book Review

Since 2001 I have been the site architect and technical editor of the Electronic Book Review, one of the longest standing journals of online critical writing. Its purpose is to foster invention and experimentation in critical and academic writing on the web.

As one of the three core team members involved in the design and production of the journal, I have been involved in information architecture, data modeling and software application development. EBR offers contributors a set of tools for critical interaction with texts, such as commenting on a text fragment or an essay as a whole, and building curated collections of texts.
