This paper considered the history of the archaeological park (the passeggiata archeologica) in Rome as a result not only of changes to the practices of curatorship, archaeology, and preservation, but also of the emergence of a modern information society.

Launched in 2006 by the UCLA Experiential Technologies Center and the Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities at the University of Virginia, this site publishes detailed reconstructions of the ancient Roman Forum and supporting information.
